But beneath the polished surface, David is spiralling. Haunted by fragmented memories and sudden déjà vu, he becomes convinced something is wrong with reality itself. Then he meets Elena—flickering in and out of existence—who tells him the unthinkable: he’s not in the timeline he started in.

Years ago, David underwent a secret procedure designed to optimise his life trajectory. It worked. But it came at a price: his original life, erased. Everyone who ever truly knew him—gone.
